Marcelo Belmont is a lawyer specializing in Civil Procedure, with a postgraduate degree from Emerj (Escola da Magistratura do Estado do Rio de Janeiro) in 2014 and in Compliance from FGV (Fundação Getúlio Vargas) in 2020. With over 20 years’ experience, he has worked extensively in Civil Law, in the area of Civil Liability, as well as Registration, Consumer, Corporate, Real Estate and Contract Law.

He is a professor of Civil Procedural Law, teaching courses at the OAB/RJ.

He is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association, Rio de Janeiro State Section, under No. 141.642 and the author of articles published in the civil area.
